Welcome to MacWareZHaus' Radio 1 Essential Mix Archives.

This site is the result of over 12 years of collecting what in my opinion is some of the best examples of DJ mixing ever to grace the airwaves. In those 12 years, I have been able to amass a collection that is 99.9% complete. The mix that I am missing is proving to be very difficult to locate. This site originally started as a way for me to keep track of the mixes that I had already located, and also a way to know which mixes I still needed to find. The pages were hosted by my ISP as personal web pages, and over time, search engines such as Alta Vista, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves and of course Google, finally found me. Other collectors just like me, found my pages while searching for mixes of their own and I started getting emails from people all over the world, asking me if I could sell them a disc with their missing mixes. And so it began...
